Google, Bing, and Yahoo do not care about killer images. They care about great optimization. Here’s how.

The content should be great

High quality and unique content make all types of optimizations great. The optimization becomes effective. Keywords are rooted in the text. The users should find the content attractive. Jargon and excessive use of flowery language are not recommended at all. Website creators should use the primary keywords and the secondary keywords in the right places.

Backlinks should be exchanged

The thumb rule is that the content should be appealing to humans. It should not sound as if it has been written for machines. Other websites of relevance to the one you are promoting can be great for exchanging backlinks. The websites should relate to your topics. The websites with higher page ranking are known as high authority websites often. Pages within the home website can also be linked well. This should be done with caution and only if it is of relevance. It is recommended that out of force, you do not connect every page.

Good names to be provided to image files will work wonders

What is interesting is that you can think of better names for the image files certainly. Google calculates the rankings and draws the images. On its search results page, Google displays both text and pictures. The post which is created has relevant photos already. The images can be linked to the corresponding page. It is recommended that keywords of a certain subject are incorporated in the file name. for example, instead of the XYZ123 image, it is always better to say Vibrant red flower.jpg. These names will work wonders when you are creating a blog on flowers for every season. The alt tag and the title tag are a must for the images. Thus, better rankings can be derived from the respective search engine. The searchers also get better usability.

Short permalinks should be used, including keywords

An understandable permalink can be used. Instead of http://yourxyz1243.com/page-id?432/, it is better to use http://yourwebsite.com/flowers-of-all-seasons/. It is said that the first four words in a permalink are relevant. Any succeeding words in the permalinks are not taken care of by Google.

The themes that are used should be search engine optimized

A lot of codes are used by some software to create the layout and the design. To find the relevant content, Google will wade through the source code. The content and keyword density are indirectly proportional to the amount of coding present. For the Google ranking, fast-performing themes are great. Rankings are determined by over two hundred criteria, and the performance of a website is just one of them.

A sitemap should be created in XML format

Sitemaps is a very easy task with WordPress and plugins such as Google XML. Google has created a lot of useful tools. Examples are Website Optimizer and Webmaster Central.

Informative content or keywords should be highlighted

H1 to H6 can be used to highlight headings or subtitles of an article. Even important sentences can be highlighted. Makers can use the strong tag, too, but they should not overdo it.

Use social networks wisely

Nowadays, companies do not just promote themselves on social networks. Other posts from various other organizations and websites can be advertised too. Like creditworthiness, people can be pleased by your deed. They will surely get back to you then.

Mirror HTML websites and black hat techniques should not be used

It is said that you cannot trick Google because eventually, they will find out. This is tried and tested evidence. You can call it a formula too. Some famous and high-profile sites have been blocked recently. This has been happening for a long time, say years. Do not try to sneak up on Google, as that will harm you.

Flash should not be used

Flash is not visible to search engines. Hence website creators should use WordPress. A beautiful theme or a great portfolio on the website should be search engine optimized. Google, Bing, and Yahoo are search engines that care about pretty boring tech stuff.
